Task: You and your classmates are invited to the National University Foreign Language Center in order to share with its students the solution you propose to solve a social issue you want to address.
Purpose: Speak about a social issue, describing its causes, its effects, and possible solutions.
Situation: The National University Foreign Language Center is holding a contest called ‘Committed youth’. You and your classmates are invited to take part in the contest in order to explain the social problem you have identified, its causes, its effects and the solution you propose.
To successfully develop this task you should:
1. Raise awareness among the students about the social issue you and your classmates have identified.
2. Discuss the analysis of the problem by:
· Highlighting the causes of the problem
· Pointing out its consequences for the community
· Sharing the solutions
· Encouraging students to be part of the solution
